GSoC 2026 Week 0: Introduction and Community Bonding

Welcome to my journey! This is the very first entry of my Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 experience.

"I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Robby O'Connor for guiding me through the entire onboarding process, helping me craft my proposal, and extending such a warm welcome. A huge thank you as well to Mua Rachmann for continuously answering my queries and providing invaluable support."

This is my Week 0 post for GSoC 2026 with LibreHealth. This week is focused on introduction and community bonding, and from next week onward I will post regular weekly progress updates.

Week 0: Introduction

I am excited to be selected for GSoC 2026 and to contribute to LibreHealth. My project focuses on building a practical security testing framework that improves confidence in development and release workflows.

I am grateful to Robby O’Connor for his guidance through onboarding and proposal shaping, and to Mua Rachmann for continuous support and quick responses to my questions.

Week 0: Community Bonding

During the bonding period, I am aligning on project expectations, workflow, and communication with mentors and the community. I am also preparing my local setup and refining the execution plan so development can start smoothly in Week 1.

Next Week Preview

From next week, I will start covering the CI/CD security architecture in detail, beginning with the static layer.

Thanks for following my journey.
